I've never know the end of this thread is the debut album of experimental duo Manon McCoy & Johnny Keating They create music through experimental microphone techniques, live processing and instrument preparations.
This album was recorded in one day, in one living room, with 3 wine glasses, 2 gin glasses , and an empty chickpea jar.
Fully improvised music for harp, guitar and voices, with effects pedals and string preparations. Performed by Manon McCoy (harp/electronics/voice) and Johnny Keating (electric guitar/electronics/voice).
This project was a recording experiment, all microphones were placed inside wineglasses/jars around the room, recording the performance through their resonances.
The words wash over
what swims through glass
eyes become distant
the panel, reflection
swirl
You can call it a jar of
or fall.
echo
eyes, shells
can gravity
still, hold?
arms
light
for now?
The distance
unfathomable like
knowing
or not
a beginning stretches out
within their relationships now
